LJ Multi Column Archive

LJ Multi Column Archive is a Wordpress plugin/widget that allows you to display your archive list with multiple columns.

I developed this plugin as I wanted to make use of the space I had in the sidebar more effectively, while still keeping the links to all the archives available.

Depending on how old you blog is you can set the Archives to display either a list of Months with Posts, a list of Years with Posts, or a list of Days with posts.

Archive links can be shown with or without post counts.

At this moment I’m using a plugin that gives me this chronology:

Could your plugin do something like this, but with multi-columns?

    Jack,

What is the name of the plugin for the Chronology? I am not entirely sure what you are looking for?

    Cheers,

    Jon

WP-Archives is the name of the plugin.
What I’m looking for is a way to display this very long list over several columns if possible. Two or three or four columns, depending on the width of the browserwindow.

I think it can be done fairly easily, but will take time. This feature may be in the next release.

Looking forward to it :) I’ll keep an eye on your plugin.
